New GYC Policies Jan 2023

To meet the Ontario Provincial requirements of Bills # 168 and # 132 that became effective on Sep 2016 and to protect employees of GYC as well as all volunteers including the Board of Directors, the following policies and programs were adopted by motion at the Board of Directors meeting on January 9, 2023:

These documents may be located on the website in Members, GYC Docs under Bylaws and Regulations, and in the red Bylaw and Regulation folder as well as on the Bulletin Board under “New Policies” in the lower clubhouse.

On-Line Fleet List

I have reworked the on-line, printable fleet list to be very similar to the one Joseph produced for sail past.

You can find it here: members/directory/fleet-list.

Unlike your paper version it will always be up-to-date – that is – assuming the database is current.

Members can maintain their own contact details by logging in and visiting their profile. Boat details are maintained by mooring or membership.

UPDATE of Rules – 4 Jan 2022

The most current copy of Rules titled Appendix B have been updated on the website and are here for your review. The Current Bylaws and Rules document can be always located on the Website under Members > GYC Docs as well as in the paper copy in the clubhouse.

June 2019 Board Minutes

I noticed a lot of you visiting the Board Minutes page recently, presumably looking for updates.
Minutes for a given month are approved at the next month’s meeting. But there are no meetings in July and August, so June’s were only approved at the September meeting.
