The Financial Statement -Georgian Yacht Club Fiscal 2020 and the BDO Year End Report 2020 have been uploaded to the georgianyachtclub.com website. These documents as per the By-laws are available (more then) 21 days prior to the AGM on April 14th.
Thank-you to the Treasurer, Peter Struthers, for all his work behind the scenes.
We are still involved with walking security on the grounds to get us through this interim period. To those who are yet to volunteer, perhaps you will consider responding back to this email and share in this work. Thank-you.
Your Board of Directors
The calendar has been updated for the 2021 events.
If you previously read on the website or in any Minutes that Launch was May 1st, please regard this notice.

VanWycks crane has us scheduled for that day.

The 2009 Version of the By-Laws as well as Rules and Regulations had been updated into “one” document and reflect all changes over the last 12 years. On 12 Jan 2021 the document was fine tuned and is now uploaded to the website and a paper copy is located upstairs in the clubhouse until the lower level is fully opened.
Updates are now available for 2021.
Minutes of Monthly Board Meetings and Calendar.
Find them all under GYC Docs (for Documents)
The invoices, for the Full Members, for the 2021 Membership Year have been sent out by email, over the past several days.
If you have not seen your invoice then please check your Junk email or spam folder. If you located it there, then please put the invoicing email address into your Contacts, so that it will go directly to your In-Box, next time.
If still not there, then please check with Brian MacIntosh at invoicing@georgianyachtclub.com
All members who have requested over the past few years, to receive their invoice by postal mail will continue to do so. Invoices for Associates will soon follow.
Oct 31st is the end of the membership year and the beginning of the new invoicing cycle.
As always, it is extremely helpful when the member informs us of all changes from the usual routine of your Storage, Haulout and Launch at invoicing@georgianyachtclub.com
It is also much appreciated, when you inform us of your intention to not renew your membership, or to release your dock, prior to mid-October of every year. Thank-you.
A great big thank-you to Brian who has taken on the creation of all of the invoices for the club members!
Brian is a member of the Treasurer Committee and works closely with the Treasurer, Peter Struthers.
Reminder for you to still send any E-transfer payments to the treasurer@georgianyachtclub.com Payments are due Nov 30th.
On a side note: Please send all correspondence, for the club, to secretary@georgianyachtclub.com, then your email can be forwarded to the corresponding Directors/and Commodore. This includes all requests, complaints AND complements! The secretary communicates with the Board members directly, including at the meetings, as well as maintaining the record of all those communications. Good or bad.
After all, I need something to do!!
Open door for any questions or suggestions,
