There is a pending application for full membership (to the “B” list) in the club.  Further to Article 2.2 d) and e) of the Club By-laws, Rules and Regulations, notice of an application is to be made on this website and the Clubhouse Bulletin Board for a minimum of 30 days.  Members may communicate to the membership committee (membership@georgianyachtclub.com) or the Board prior to the February 5th Board meeting any relevant information a Member may possess regarding the applicant.

Brad Findlay of Chatsworth, and sponsored by Ed Griffith and John Griffith, was approved as an Associate member at the December 4, 2017 Board meeting.  Brad plans to bring a 36 foot power boat into the club.

Steve Meades of Owen Sound, and sponsored by Travis Low and Stan McLean, was approved as an Associate member at the November 6, 2017 Board meeting.  Steve has a 29′ Sea Ray.

Gord Eyre of Balmy Beach, and sponsored by Paul Walker and Andy VanDolder, was approved as an Associate member at the December 4, 2017 Board meeting.  Gord has a 24′ Boston Whaler.

Jake Priester of Chatsworth, and sponsored by Tom England and Paul Weitendorf, was approved as an Associate member at the November 6, 2017 Board meeting.  Jake has a Grampian 26 sailboat.

Guy Doherty of Owen Sound, and sponsored by Jack Doherty and Stan McLean, was approved as an Associate member at the November 6, 2017 Board meeting.  Guy has a 21′ power boat.

Drew Mathies of Owen Sound, and sponsored by Ian Boddy and Tom England, was approved as an Associate member at the November 6, 2017 Board meeting.  Drew has a Beneteau 34 sailboat.

Doug Dawson of Meaford, and sponsored by Mike Forcier and Lindsey Taylor, was approved as an Associate member at the September 5, 2017 Board meeting.  Doug and his wife Brenda are moving to Owen Sound in the Spring. Doug has a Windy 9800 power boat.  Doug has been involved in boating on a recreational and career basis since being born on the family marina.  Doug and Brenda remain active in the boating industry (www.boatingwithdawsons.com and www.powerboatdocking.com).

Marija Scriven of Wiarton, and sponsored by Travis Low and Harry Hartrick, was approved as an Associate member at the June 5, 2017 Board meeting.  Marija has a Doral 330SE power boat.

Dann Demars of Allenford, and sponsored by Ross Burrows and Tom England, was approved as an Associate member at the June 5, 2017 Board meeting.  Dann has 30 foot Cruiser Inc. power boat.
