I think it’s time to bring back GYC Swag! Trucker hats never go out of style!
Since the late 80’s early 90’s are currently back in fashion this is a trend that needs to be revitalized, bonus points for matching ensembles and neon colours! Koozies, hats, jackets whatever you have let’s see some GYC Pride!
A different time, heck we didn’t even have a fence! Covering a wide time-line for this throw back, whether you’ve been in the club for a hot minute, or been around long enough you might not want to admit it. Something for everyone!

Hi All, I will be out of the country from October 9th to the 19th. So I need to take down my mast sometime next week, 2nd to 7th. Is anyone else planning to do theirs in that time? 22′ MiYotie usually goes very quickly.
GYC and the wonderful oasis that is White Cloud Island over the years. As the weather turns, think happy thoughts. This is my happy place! Some photos taken from members’ posts over the years, some from my own personal stash.
Starting the Afternoon of July 26 at the west Pavilion of the Little Current Town Dock. Join in the potluck supper and celebrate GYC 2023 in the North Channel!
This event has unfortunately been cancelled due to the predicted bad weather on Saturday.
On Saturday July 15 a few of our members will be taking 8-10 medical residents for a sail to showcase our beautiful area.
This is an opportunity for GYC to support healthcare in Grey Bruce and the purpose is to attract new physicians to our area. We have a few members who do not have a family physician and I know are in full support of this initiative.
The sailors plan to return to the club at around 16:30 and will be entertaining their guests in the picnic shelter. So this is a heads up that the shelter and the BBQs will be in use at this time.
Three vessels made the trip to White Cloud Island on Sunday June 4th. Big thanks to the members that helped out. Harry and Irene Hartrick, Dave and Cathy Sykes, Ed Griffith, Brad Findlay and new committee member Scott Caple.
