Gas Dock UPDATE

We have unfortunately lost Charlie as our Gas Dock attendant for an indefinite period of time.

I put out a call for volunteers and received a gracious offer from Rudy Hachey to assume the duty on our regular schedule.

Since we lost our Wednesday night gas schedule, I have arranged to have an extra opening tonight, Thursday, from 4-8 pm.

Anyone that may have a 15 year old that is soon to be 16 that maybe looking for a summer job, this year or next, please contact me.

Please don’t forget to express your appreciation to Rudy when you visit the Gas Dock.

Thank you Rudy!

Murray

Gas dock volunteers needed ASAP

We have unfortunately lost Charlie as our Gas Dock attendant for an indefinite period of time.

I am now asking for volunteers to assist with the Gas Dock until I can find a replacement.
I would like to see 2 volunteers per shift, to assist each other with the opening/closing procedures and documentation.
I am currently transcribing the detailed procedures and will have available ASAP.
Please text me your availability, starting this Friday and throughout August. I would like to stay as close to our current schedule, based on volunteers availability.

Volunteers are required to complete “Oil Spill Prevention & Response for Marina Staff” at courses. boats.org, a FREE online course that all boaters would benefit from.

If anyone has a possible candidate for the position, please let me know.
